Intake Meeting
It starts with a conversation. In this session, we will discuss your unique needs, your goals, and your ideas for speech therapy. We will work together to create a personalized action plan.
Please share any previous neurological records or speech evaluations with our team before this meeting.

Evaluations
This hour-long meeting will include speech, language, & cognitive testing to identify your greatest strengths and communication challenges. You will receive a written report to share with your health team within 2 weeks of the evaluation.

Speech & Language Therapy Sessions
In these weekly or biweekly sessions, we will work toward your goals. You are welcome to join the sessions with your family, friends, or other community members. Come prepared to learn, ask questions, and share your communication ups and downs from the previous week!

A note on insurance:
Akin Speech does not bill insurance at this time. This gives us the freedom we need to address your goals in a way that works for you.
All sessions require a valid debit or credit card on file. Your card will be automatically charged after each session.
We know living with speech, language, and cognitive conditions can be expensive. If cost is a barrier, please contact us for options.
