Leela Rao, MS, CCC-SLP

With 5+ years of experience working with people with aphasia, primary progressive aphasia (PPA), and dementia, Leela is excited to help you and your community take the lead in your speech & language therapy. Her speech therapy style is direct and caring, and she does her best to educate you about your condition while giving you the guidance you need to identify clear goals.

Leela has collaborated with experts in the field of PPA and has seen over 100 patients with PPA and their families as part of the Communication Bridge program at the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology & Alzheimer’s Disease at Northwestern University. She is also involved with the National Aphasia Association’s PPA Taskforce Committee.
